LAHORE: Police have arrested a woman for orchestrating the rape of her friend by her husband as an act of revenge. The incident took place in Lahore.
According to the Kot Lakhpat police, they used advanced technology to track down the suspect at her brother’s house in Chauburji. Both the suspect and the victim worked together at the same factory.
Superintendent of Police Model Town, Akhlaqullah Tarar, stated that the two women had a disagreement a few days before the incident. Yasmin, the suspect, planned the assault with her husband to retaliate against her friend.
Yasmin’s husband broke into the victim’s home, identified as Shamshad Bibi, and raped her before fleeing the scene.
The police are now searching for other suspects involved in the case. They emphasized that those who commit such crimes against women will not be shown any leniency.
