Young YouTuber, Muhammad Shiraz, met his idol, Pakistani cricket star Shoaib Akhtar!

Pakistani YouTuber Muhammad Shiraz, known for his channel Shirazi Village Vlogs, got to meet his cricket hero, the legendary Shoaib Akhtar! Shiraz shared a video on YouTube titled “I Met Shoaib Akhtar, Fastest Bowler in the World.”

It wasn’t just Akhtar though! Cricketers Kamran Ghulam and Haseebullah Khan also dropped by to chat with Shiraz. They greeted him warmly and even admitted they watch his vlogs!

Shiraz, along with his sister Muskan, even got to visit Akhtar’s house. There, they talked about all things cricket. Akhtar joked about preferring to hit batsmen rather than the wickets with his fast bowling. He also playfully teased Shiraz about his plans.

The conversation flowed as Akhtar shared some of his own cricketing experiences. He expressed his desire to visit Gilgit Baltistan but never received an invitation. He also talked about wanting to play alongside former Prime Minister Imran Khan, but Khan had already retired before Akhtar’s debut.

Akhtar went on to explain how Khan requested him to join the team when he was just 19 years old at a training camp. He also mentioned his inspiration from Pakistani cricket coach Waqar Younis, admitting he was even kicked out of the team at one point!

Akhtar’s love for the game shone through as he spoke about his feelings towards different countries and pitches. “I love India and Pakistan. I love the world,” he said. “However, when it comes to bowling, I used to hurt people. Sourav Ganguly used to say that you should bowl legside and not hit the upper body,” he added with a laugh, referring to the former Indian cricket captain.

He even revealed his favorite places to play: Rawalpindi, Melbourne, MCG (Melbourne Cricket Ground), and Cape Town. When asked about his travel wishlist, Shiraz mentioned Canada, and Akhtar seemed enthusiastic about the idea.

The fun didn’t stop there! The video ended with the two even playing some cricket together. It seems like it was a dream come true for both Shiraz and his viewers!
