Imran hasn’t been asked to meet with any foreign diplomats yet.

Currently, no foreign diplomat in Islamabad has asked to meet with Imran Khan, the leader of PTI, who is in prison.

If a diplomat wants to meet him, they must follow certain steps: first, their request goes to the Foreign Office, then to the Interior Ministry, and finally, the meeting is arranged by the provincial government after Imran agrees to it.

Recently, during a meeting in the US Congress, it was suggested that the US ambassador should visit Imran in jail. However, it’s not common for foreign diplomats to meet with Pakistani citizens in prison, according to Ghalib Iqbal, a former Pakistani ambassador.

If a diplomat wants to meet with a fellow citizen, there are specific rules to follow.

Similarly, if Imran wants to meet with a diplomat from a foreign country, such as the US, the prison administration will assess the request according to the rules and procedures.
