A Dhaka-bound flight made an emergency landing in Karachi on Monday after a 42-year-old Bangladeshi passenger’s health worsened and he was declared dead by a doctor.
The flight, which was traveling from Sharjah to Dhaka, landed at Jinnah International Airport after the passenger’s condition deteriorated. The Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) confirmed that the plane was given permission to land due to the medical emergency.
After completing the necessary formalities, the flight resumed its journey to Dhaka with the passenger’s body onboard.
In a similar incident on February 20, a Saudia Airlines flight from Dhaka to Riyadh had to land in Karachi after a passenger’s health worsened. The aircraft, initially diverted to Mumbai, was later allowed to land in Karachi where medical assistance was provided.
