If you opt for a 72-page ordinary passport with a five-year validity, the new fee is Rs8,200. For a 100-page passport, the fee has increased to Rs 9,000.

For an ordinary passport with a ten-year validity, the normal fee is now Rs6,700, up from Rs4,500. If you choose the 72-page passport with a ten-year validity, the fee has been raised to Rs12,400.
