Stolen iPhones belonging to an army officer on Malir Cantt Road successfully retrieved within 48 hours.

“The District Korangi police swiftly resolved a recent snatching attempt involving an army officer, managing to recover his stolen mobile phones within a remarkably short period of 48 hours.

A well-executed operation led by the Model Colony police station, utilizing advanced technological methods, resulted in the apprehension of a two-member gang responsible for snatching the mobile phone from the army officer on Malir Cantt Road. Employing technical expertise, the police conducted a targeted raid in a Korangi locality, successfully arresting the two suspects identified as Ali Raza and Usman. The operation also yielded the discovery of two pistols and the retrieval of the two stolen iPhones, specifically the iPhone 14 Pro Max.

It has been revealed that the apprehended suspects were engaged in a series of street crimes, particularly targeting citizens in the Malir Cantt Road, Mausamiyat, and Model Colony areas. Additionally, the duo was wanted by both District East and Korangi police for their involvement in various street crime cases.

The police are actively pursuing further investigations into the matter to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the criminal activities perpetrated by the suspects and any potential connections to additional criminal incidents.”
